On 5th of Poush, 2081, an awareness program on fire safety was successfully held at Shri Saraswati Secondary School, Thecho, organized by APSA Nepal in collaboration with the Nepal Rescue and Firefighter Association (NRFFA). The main trainer for the program was Madhusudan Thapa, the president of NRFFA.
He shared valuable information on fire safety, providing training on fire prevention measures and safety procedures to follow during a fire. Additionally, he also provided insights on essential first aid skills and the proper use of fire extinguishing equipment during a fire.
Key People and Participation: The program began with a welcome speech by Mahendra Bista, the Headmaster of Shri Saraswati Secondary School, Thecho, who expressed gratitude to APSA Nepal for organizing such an important event. APSA Nepal has continuously been organizing such programs related to fire safety and awareness, helping to improve safety standards in the community.
The program saw enthusiastic participation from the students, teachers, and local residents of the school. All participants received practical training on fire safety measures and first aid.
